Lounge On The Farm or “LOTF” is in its 6th year as one of the country’s up and coming summer festivals. Held near Canterbury, Kent, the festival is a celebration of music, arts, performance, comedy, and all manor of entertainment for young and old. I was asked to document part of the Playhouse Stage’s weekend performances, some of the best in quirky, weird and wonderful up-and-coming comedy and cabaret. The festival is well worth noting in your 2013 diary. Check out their website, or follow the link below for more photos from the day…
I was recently asked at short notice to cover the evening part of Charley and Anninka’s Civil ceremony at Howfield Manor Hotel near Canterbury, Kent. I gladly took up the challenge, and although I didn’t have a chance to get the all important ceremony shots, the evening was still a success for myself and the girls!
I love Brighton (on a sunny day that is) – sea air and chips in a cone, heaven! So when Paul and Serdar asked me to photograph their Civil Ceremony in the famous seaside resort I had to say yes. The Ceremony took place at the Town Hall, and then it was back to Hotel Du Vin for the reception, in-between which we had some time to nip onto the beach for a few fun shots! It was an intimate affair with only a hand-full of close friends and family, which made it feel very special for the boys.
I’ve worked with the NVS guys a few times now, and they were recently been asked to represent High Street fashion chain Blue Inc in their latest campaign. The guys are such a nice bunch I jumped at the chance to get in the studio and take some shots. The finished shot is actually a composite of four individual shots, combined together in Photoshop. Getting that wind on Harri’s dress just wasn’t possible in the group shot!

I spent a great day with a lovely couple, Emma and Bryn, in Bishopsbourne for their big day. The Weather held out, something of a rarity it seems these days, and the relaxed day went without a hitch. It was off to Lower Hardres for the reception, and the best hog roast I have ever tasted! Thanks guys for a great day!
I spent a very sunny day in Canterbury’s Greyfriars Gardens a few days ago with the lovely Carrie and Dean, whose wedding I will be shooting in a couple of months. They were both naturals in front of the camera, so I’m looking forward to their big day!

A shoot I did with the lovely, and very talented singer/songwriter Ny was used for a spread in Urban Coco magazine recently. Check out the online version for yourself.
Having spent a few years being satisfied taking mainly portraits I finally thought it was time to branch out into new territory, namely wedding photography.
I spent a lovely spring day last week at Wasing park in Berkshire with Ollie and Emmalie, one of the first couples to take the plunge and hire my services. I’m now taking bookings for wedding photography, so please get in touch if you are interested.
Check out a selection of photos from their day by following the link below, and stay tuned for more wedding shots to come in the near future…
This shoot of the beautiful Liz McClarnon was the first of many between us way back in February 2008. The photos have been sitting quietly on the hard drive until a couple of weeks ago when I was called upon to supply some photos of Liz that went along with the “shirt” theme. A tiny bit of Photoshop tidying and here we are!
Paul Redshaw is a Psychic Medium who has worked with many of todays famous faces, helping them in all aspects of daily life. I had the pleasure of taking a few shots for his website here in Kent when he paid a visit. Against a simple white background and simple speedlite setup we thrashed out a few shots, and we were done! A little bit of Photoshopping to give the seat shot a little more life and job’s-a-good-un.
